I am an award winning, Graphic Designer specialising in Advertising. I have a first class honours degree in Visual Communication from Gray’s School of Art. In 2013, I was featured in Creative Review’s graduate issue and awarded an YCN Student Award in London.
I have been working as a Graphic Designer at DC Thomson since 2013, where I have been awarded Advertisement of the Year twice at our annual advertising awards. As part of the creative team, I create advertising concepts for a broad spectrum of clients from Lidl to Glennfiddich. I have vast experience producing responsive advertisements, both digitally and in print. I have created a wide array of artwork from branding and exhibition stands to editorial publications. I take projects from conception to completion both externally and internally.
I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, Flash as well as other software such as Prezzi, and Final Cut Pro.
Within my current role I have taken part in various digital training sessions, expanding my knowledge of Wordpress, Bannerflow and Wayin. I have also lead training sessions in bannerflow and photoshop. I am continually striving to improve upon my existing skill set and enjoy learning new skills at every opportunity. I am currently learning html5 and CSS.
In my spare time, I enjoy taking local art workshops in life drawing, screenprinting and using large format laser cutters. I love cooking, baking and running. .
